Resembling a pitcher, a vase, and apothecary piece all in one, I aimed for this piece to make a unique statement. It’s adorned by swan neck handles that arch back towards an oval body. The vase is wheel-thrown, reshaped off wheel, and hand-painted in a festive floral motif, one inspired by the holiday season and florals found among historic textile patterns in the archives at Colonial Williamsburg!
